1/4     cup tahini
2       tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon
1       garlic clove
1/2      teaspoon ground cumin
1/4     teaspoon salt
Dash of smoked paprika

HOW TO MAKE IT

1 Drain the chickpeas and save liquid from the can. Set aside.
2 Add the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt to a blender. Blend for 30 to 60 seconds, or until reaching a creamy consistency. To soften the hummus, add chickpea liquid, 1 tablespoon at a time, until reaching desired texture.
3 Transfer to a serving plate and sprinkle with smoked paprika.
